We meet again..

I must begin with an apology. Somehow I let life get in the way and did not follow through with my intention to be loyal to this blog. Upon checking my stats, I realised it has had a total of 0 views, so I can't imagine anyone feeling let down. But hey who's going to be reading it if i'm not even giving it attention?
This time round, things will be different.....I promise.
Cliche?
A little.
But don't give up so easily. Give second chances!
That's something i've taken on board since my last post.
We won't splash into every sad detail. That's one guarantee I will make. This will not be a "I should'nt of got out of bed this morning" type blog. We definetly see enough of that on facebook.
(Is that just my facebook or yours too? Maybe a friend cull is in order)
Back to the meaningful quote. Ahh yes.
I do believe forgiveness is key. Holding grudges is not healthy. You'll just waste more time trying to force yourself to remember the bad things. Karma is well and truly alive..let it do the hard work for you!

In other news, its Spring here in Brisbane. Yes the sun is out, the 100km trek to the beach is ever so enticing and gyms everywhere are slashing there membership fees accordingly.

Yesterday I officially did the wardrobe swoap over, placing my winter woolies firmly to the far left of my closet. To no suprise and as is routine every change of season, I looked at my hard work unsatisfied. It became even clearer what was missing. Did I hear you say retail therapy?

Which brings me to my wishlist for Summer. I'll bring you that one next time.

For now...

oh heyyy

Well, my very first post.
But before I get too ahead of myself, I think an introduction is in order.
I do like fashion..I read about it, work to pay for it and think pretty hard about it each morning..hopefully coming to an acceptable conclusion. But really, so does everyone.
I am a gym junkie. Watching tv, (Pay tv!!) while hitting it hard on the bike. I like. Those instructors, so passionate yet so darn amusing. "We are the champions, no losers in here" she said. Who wouldn't go back.
I work at a coffee shop, priding myself in feeding the addicts something not so mainstream. But of course, popularity is now through the roof, commericalism has taken over and franchises are popping up everywhere.
I was born in South Africa, but immigrated to good ol' Queensland when I was 7 with my family. I'm still here..alive and kicking.
University is my agenda..Business/Journalism seemed like a good option two years back. Its working out well.
The ridiculously long holidays attached to this pretty much forced me to travel. Japan, Thailand and Laos so far. And as I'm sure as any traveller will tell you, once you open the door out of your little part of the world, you never quite close it.
The point is I guess, that this blog will be a hotpotch of things. I have no real single burning passion for one thing. So who's to know.
Stay tuned.
